Mission 

The main mission of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department; Having the potential to meet the needs of the food and beverage industry, having the necessary equipment in Turkish and World culinary culture, able to use the right and healthy cooking techniques with the right recipes, adopting food safety and hygiene rules and applying them in food production processes; To train qualified, successful, entrepreneurial chefs and professionals who follow the innovations in the field of gastronomy, have moral and ethical values and academic research culture.

The basic vision of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department; To be discipline that is preferred by the sector with the combination of applied and theoretical education, follows national and international developments, integrates with the sector, can make its name heard with the scientific activities it carries out, is a pioneer in its field, is respected and cooperates with all its stakeholders and universities.
