From the Head of Department

The Department of Architecture, which has approximately 500 students and a strong teaching staff, is located within the Faculty of Art and Design at Doğuş University. In addition to being one of the departments with the highest score, the activities and projects produced are the indicators of the privilege of our department. It is also privilage to be able to  easily reach Kadıköy, one of the social and cultural centers of Istanbul and to be located next to the metro exit.

All our efforts are to educate researchers, visionary and principled professionals who can solve contemporary architecture and structural environmental problems in the process of major change / transformation in today's urban and social structures through vocational education equipment and cooperation with all stakeholders. Our experienced, innovative, research and expert academic staff is our greatest strength in this way.

Successful students have the opportunity to do double major and minor programs with the Interior Architecture and Industrial Design Departments. It is also possible for our students to continue their education in the departments of architecture of the universities abroad where our university has an Erasmus agreement.

The high performances and achievements of our students in their national and international academic studies, private or public sector positions after their undergraduate or graduate degrees continue to be our source of pride and happiness.
